How can reservations be made?

Reservations can be made online.
Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance.

Do reservations need to be made in advance?

Reservations are required for visits to SUZUKI PLAZA.
Please note that there are days when the facility is closed due to filming, inspections, etc.

It doesn’t look like I will be able to make it by the reservation time, but is that alright?

The reservation time is only used as a rough guide, but please note that the facility closes at 4:30 P.M.
However, group visitors are asked to make sure they notify the facility of changes in the arrival time due to the need for facility staff to guide buses to their parking spaces.

Can SUZUKI PLAZA be leased for exclusive use?

As a general rule, the facility cannot be leased for exclusive use.

Can I make a group reservation for when it rains only?

Please inquire in advance (we prioritise reservations made by groups that can come regardless of the weather).

Will I need to make a group reservation if there are more than 20 people, even though everyone will be arriving by motorcycle, car or train?

Group reservations are taken for people arriving in microbuses, tour buses, etc., due to the parking spaces required for them.
Moreover, there are no special parking spaces available for people arriving on motorcycles, so you are asked to use the space for a single car to park two motorcycles.

About touring the facility

About how long does it take to tour the facility?

It differs from person to person, but the average is about 1.5 hours. People with a keen interest in cars and motorcycles sometimes spend more than two hours at the facility.

Can preschool children (under the age of 6) tour the facility, too?

We have no age limit for people who wish to tour the facility.
However, adults are asked to keep their eyes on their children at all times for safety reasons.

Do you rent out baby carriages?

There are two baby carriages available. Please ask at the front desk if you wish to borrow one.
The facility also has elevators, slopes, multipurpose toilets (with baby beds for changing diapers), etc.

We have a hand-pushed type and a motorised type. Please ask at the front desk if you wish to borrow one.

How wheelchair-accessible is the facility?

The facility has elevators, slopes, multipurpose toilets (with baby beds for changing diapers), etc.

Can photos and videos be taken inside the facility?

You are free to take photos and videos of the exhibits inside the facility. However, you are asked not to touch any of the vehicles on display, and avoid inconveniencing others by using tripods for example.
If you wish to take photos or videos for the purpose of reporting on the facility, please consult with the PR Department of SUZUKI MOTOR CORPORATION.

Is it possible to ask for a guided tour?

Visitors are asked to tour the facility by themselves.
All exhibits have explanatory panels, videos, and various contraptions making them easy to understand (languages: Japanese and English)

Can “Factory Adventure” in the 3D Theatre on the 2nd floor be watched in English?

The movie is also screened in English in our theatre. People who wish to watch it in English are asked to come to the front desk.

Is it possible to sit inside the cars on display?

Visitors are asked not to touch the vehicles on display on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
The 1st floor is a showroom where Suzuki’s latest products are on display. Visitors can feel free to touch or try sitting in the cars (engines cannot be turned on).

Do you have a car park?

A car park is available on the SUZUKI PLAZA premises.
There are separate parking spaces available for buses, but the number of spaces is limited, so reservations are required in advance.

Are food and drinks available inside the facility?

There is a resting spot on the 3rd floor (with 16 seats).
Eating and drinking are prohibited inside the facility, except in this resting spot.

Do you have a place where I can take a rest?

There are resting spots on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There are tables, chairs, and automatic vending machines (on the 3rd floor only).

Do you have coin-operated lockers?

They are available on the 1st floor.
You will need a 100-yen coin to operate the locker, but you will be refunded after use.

Do you sell facility souvenirs or novelty goods?

There is an automatic vending machine on the 1st floor selling original Suzuki goods.

Can I tour the facility with pets?

No, visitors are asked to refrain from bringing their pets.

Is there a smoking zone inside the facility?

There are no smoking zones inside the facility.
There is a smoking zone in the car park (outside), but smoking is prohibited outside the designated area.

How long does it take to get there from Hamamatsu Nishi Interchange or Hamamatsu Interchange on the Tomei Expressway?

It takes about 30 to 40 minutes from either interchange. Please check the access map for more details.

Can I tour the factory?

We do not allow members of the general public to tour the factory. Moreover, the exhibit on the 2nd floor, based on the theme, “How cars are made,” allows visitors to follow the production process from styling and development, to designing, manufacturing and sales. Visitors may also watch a 3D movie in the 3D Theatre on the various processes of pressing, welding and painting, while the factory booth was set up with the full support of Kosai Plant, allowing everyone from children to adults to enjoy the comprehensive content. All the processes involved in manufacturing cars are explained in detail, so we look forward to your visit.
